Will definitely stay here again!
Liked: My room was very clean, it was a quiet place to stay, staff was friendly, and the breakfast was wonderful.

A great five-night stay in...
Liked: Loved the two-room suite and the king-size bed. Also the proximity to the C train, directly across the road.

bad and room to sleep...
Disliked: We book property and pay higher price because they have swimming pool. But it’s been under renovation. Nothing as complimentary wasn’t offer to compensate. If we know we can book another property at least 20$ cheaper per room.

Perfect for a two or...
Liked: Location - great to be near the Foothills Hospital. For others, across the street was public transit. Breakfast was basic but they did have it. The choices were yogurt, toast, sausage, muffin, fruit, waffle, and eggs. Lots of families in the pool. Room was clean and spacious… not fancy at all. Dennys and other eateries within walking distance. WiFi worked great.
Disliked: Maybe security so only people staying on a certain floor can access that floor.

Pros outweighs cons but read...
Liked: Banff Trail Ctrain station right in front of hotel front door. Walking distance to stadium just behind. Easy to get to anywhere by car or transit. We didn't hear any train noise from the room we stayed at just behind the elevators on upper levels, and not big gaps below suite door to flooring, so we didn't hear any noise from the hallway late at night (for this alone I'd revisit). Front desk lady who checked us in was friendly and later called our room phone to make sure we have everything we need and is comfortable. This is a first for all my stay at similar level of hotels. Very much appreciated. There was a waffle machine at the breakfast place though as expected it's busy especially after kids started to show up. But still nice to see one there. The pool with a water slide by reception seems busy with families with kids and they seemed to be having a blast.Despite the hair situation, the room is nice and clean, washroom looks revamped in recent years with nice large mirror with embedded LED around. TV was functional, 2 extra charging ports and 2 USB ports on one night stand.
Disliked: Human Pb hair *on* bed cover. They could have seen it and lint rollered it and no one is the wiser. We chose not to be a bother (didn't report) and just removed it and inspected EVERYWHERE before we unpacked to make sure we don't need to get a new room (the reception staff next morning - different than the one who checked us in - told us next time just request the room change). Mattress in King room we stayed in was the very soft springy type, so your body detects all the metal springs all night.Shower head water pressure was really low and small stream.Free breakfast only available 6:30-9:30am (on weekends during our stay), small selections. It's not bad compared to some same level hotels on Macleod Trail I've stayed at before, and honestly I'd visit this place again for all the PROS; but if you are picky with any of the CONS listed above you should avoid this place.

All good
Liked: Staff is nice, hotel is a bit run down with some of renovations being done (not in the best way).Pool was nice, but smaller than expected. Mattresses and pillows are comfortable.Breakfast is really good.
Disliked: They have a strange policy that you have to sign, regarding "stained' linen and towels. If you stained it, you can be charged up to $300. We never did stained linen or towels, but still this was the first time I've encountered this.
