Not nice surroundings, not the...

Liked: You can take the bus direct line right into the downtown, very convenient alright, and the staff were quite friendly. Yes, parking is free - that's the main purpose I booked it.
Disliked: The surrounding is NOT very good! Right across the main street at that corner there were a few hookers attracting "clients". their appearance was rather frequent as we can see them from our window or when we went out. And the neighborhood on the other side was kind of trashy. The breakfast is not that good, it's exactly the same every day! Restaurants there are not very good either and yet the price is not any less in California.

Disliked: It was a little noisy between rooms. I could hear other peoples Tv or conversation Fortunately I use ear plugs at nite.

Liked: The staff was very friendly, check in and check out were super fast and easy, the room and bed were spcious, and the free breakfast was great. Definitely a great value and find.

Both my wife and I...

Liked: The breakfast was a typical serve yourself hotel breakfast, and the hours it was available was very good. I loaded up some plates and took the items back to our room for my wife and me so that she could get ready for the day out.
Disliked: I could not get the T V to work. I first called down to the front desk and asked for help, but still, I could not get the T V to work. Then I took the remote down to the front desk and asked if I was doing something wrong. The lady at the desk got the lobby T V to work showing me what to do and I told her that I was doing all the same things. So, I went back up to our room and that was when I started looking behind the T V and I noticed that the main power cord had been unplugged and was laying on the floor. I plugged it in to the power outlet and after that the T V worked fine.
