Clean room and good breakfast. Nice area. Close to downtown and the beach. Easy Uber to everything downtown if you don't want to worry about parking.

Disliked: No bar in hotel.

Nice staff; upgraded room without asking; clean and great walking areas. The breakfast staff were excellent.

Never again not even for...

Disliked: Room smelled really bad (wet/moldy).There were cockroaches walking around in our room! When pointing this out to the receptionist Jonas, we were just told that would be normal for Charleston. No apology, nothing. Is this your standard for dealing with feedback/ guest concerns? Breakfast trays and containers did not get cleaned overnight. They stood filthy and covered with stains on the buffet tables when we arrived the night before. A very discussing place in our point of view!We are aware that it is just a basic motel. So we did not expect much. But this place is not even recommended for one night....

I'm sure twenty years ago...

Liked: The location was great easy to get to the city or beaches or restaurants and shopping
Disliked: The room needs updated it worked just nothing for me to come back to To many options to try and check out in the future

Liked: For the most part, everything was great for the cost. Loved the location, clean room, friendly staff, and delicious breakfast. I would have appreciated a vent fan in the bathroom. The lady who prepared breakfast was a little intimidating and surly.Our room, 228, faced the road, and sometimes the motorcycles and cars got a little too loud.We enjoyed our stay and will try to stay with you again. Thank you

Disliked: The bathroom smelled bad… prob the pipes. There was only a lady serving the breakfast and she could not keep up. Not her fault…Had to ask to change sheets because they were peeling…had little balls

Good alternative to the high...

Liked: Ideal location within Mount Pleasant closing tho the bridge with easy access to historic Charleston. Comfortable oversize room made the stay ideal.
Disliked: Breakfast was not very appetizing. It was great hta it was included, but it needs more appealing options. The fake eggs were disappointing.

Disliked: A unregistered guest, in the lobby, who had Issues.
