What happened to customer service?

Liked: Location was great
Disliked: It took over an hour to check in because I added a day to our reservation with booking and Comfort Inn had no record of it. What’s going on? No one should ever be inconvenienced like that. We were late for a meeting with our family because of it. We own an Inn of our own and couldn’t believe the lack of service on both ends.Food was mediocre with the same dry scrambled eggs each day. We were there for 6 nights.

Disliked: Big trash can in hallway close to check in bad smell but otherwise friendly staff and clean
