Great Location for the Price...

Liked: LOCATION WAS FANTASTIC - less than 10 minutes to Universal studios. Also within walking distance to the Pirate Dinner show. Not to many shops around this area , guess i was expecting more like Kissimmee with all the tourist shops everywhere, but thats ok. Beds were comfy (no complaints there) room was as clean as expected. Our view from room 208 was ok , could see the lit up needle ride in distance. Price was ok & i also liked the deposit was only $50. Some places are upwards to $500 deposits. Breakfast was ok - just dont be late ! Front desk staff were Very nice. Also the man at the side desk for tourist info Over all the outside was clean as well. Stayed 4 nights / 5 days Mid / late January. Id stay again if the price was right
Disliked: The carpet in the hall ways were horrible & very outdated. The carpets buckle up so badly i could barely roll my suitcase. I could only imagine someone with a wheel chair how hard that would be. Breakfast was good, but when i came down the one morning and made my waffle - i went to ask for butter and the lady said “we are closed”. When the butter was sitting right there on her cart & the waffle machines were still being used. That was a little rude and disappointing. Was a little loud the first night , but its a hotel with kids and theme parks. Is what it is. It got Quiet around 11

Disliked: The breakfast was really one-sided, typical American, no vegetarian options and no fresh fruit. Limited protein too. The curtain in our room didn't work.In addition, there was a fire at breakfast when the wire of the waffle maker caught fire, customer had to put the fire out with his clothing. After this, to our shock, the staff did not ask an electrician to check whether the wires were damaged in the wall, but instead took the burnt maker out and used the same plugs for the other waffle makers. We asked about it and the staff clearly did not understand why an inspection would be in order..
