Comfort Inn & Suites Harrisburg - Hershey West, Paxtang

Nice basic hotel, nothing fancy but was clean and quiet and affordable, with a few nice perks (fitness facility, continental breakfast with a few hot items and a nice array of cereal, bagels,etc).

Liked: It was affordable. Nice continental breakfast. Easy parking. Had a fitness center which many hotels in this price range lack.
Disliked: Nothing.

Disliked: The hotel is run down and nasty. Our room didn’t look like it had been painted since the hotel opened. Remote controls were gross and grimy. One of the beds had marks on the bedsheets. Just overall dirty and poorly maintained. Bathroom not thoroughly cleaned. Faucet was leaking and water running all over the countertop when turned on.

Disliked: Very few channels on TV. Could not find news.

Liked: Clean, modern rooms. Excellent hotel staff, and the General Manager was a fantastic host. Room was restocked as needed.
Disliked: Experienced one morning (out of 6) where there was no hot water in the shower during peak time (7am).

This property and staff are...

Liked: We arrived much earlier than the usual check in time due to impending weather conditions. The gentleman at the front desk was so accommodating with our request. He checked with housekeeping who were equally as pleasant . We were given our keys , shown to our room, and we were advised how to prepare our car for the ice storm that was to arrive later that night . We were given free cookies for our room . Every employee we encountered during our stay was friendly and helpful and always asking if we were enjoying our stay or if we needed anything .We were informed of local eateries in the area and given crotons as well. The staff really made us feel welcomed and appreciated!!!Would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for accommodations in the area. Thank you staff for a very pleasant stay. Also noted the pre preparation of the salt spread on sidewalks and parking lot was a plus. We felt truly cared for our safety.
Disliked: There wasn’t anything to dislike about this property!
