Disappointing at the price

Liked: The only bright spot was the wonderful young lady at the front desk who was kind, cheerful and extremely helpful. (sorry...we did not get her name, but she was the only one we saw there consistently the whole weekend.)
Disliked: The property was in disarray (we understood that it was under construction when we booked the room). The outlets in the bathroom and next to the mirror in the main room did not work. The shower head was pathetic. The latch on the door did not have anything to latch it to and we were concerned because there were times where we thought the door was completely locked, but it was still ajar. The breakfast was inadequate. We showed up at 9:00am on Saturday and there was far too many people for the provided food. We tried to have some oatmeal (instant oatmeal...yuck...) and there was no hot water and no one to ask about it. There was one waffle maker and it was impossible to get access to because one person was making four waffles for their entire family. We didn't even try on Sunday.In summary, we paid full price for a less-than-full-price experience. The value we received was not commensurate with the experience. If you are going to rent less-than-perfect rooms during your "renovation", then the price should be reduced. We feel the price was extremely high for the experience we had.
