Liked: Great hotel for the price. The staff members are a pleasure to deal with, the rooms are clean and very comfortable and the breakfast is excellent. The all day coffee bar is also a nice touch. Great location for all amenities in downtown Collingwood.

Liked: The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was acceptable. There was a good-sized shower, which meant I did not have to get in and out of a bathtub.
Disliked: The toilet was too low for someone that is about 6 ft .tall. I guess that is the law now. I think I will stay home.My wife had to use her walker to be able to stand up from the toilet.I tried to shut off the fan for the room heater, but it was not possible. We had to listen to the noise all night.The shower had sliding doors with a handle on the inside of one door. But it was not good as a grab bar because it moved.

Liked: Room was dusty cobweb in top corner of room, stain on floor at entrance.. Bathroom had no safety handles for seniors and the shower floor was slippery.The toilet seat kept moving when you used it. I did ask about "rooms for Seniors " That room was not a "safe for seniors" room . This room was ground floor. We only stayed for two days ....two days too long. I could only find one "Permit Parking " space available (Which I did use). Breakfast was good.
Disliked: The location of this Comfort Inn was terrible. The exit and entrance was dangerous . You could only leave the parking lot by turning right. Line of site to turn left was dangerous and you had to time your exit with the red light at the intersection.Why do I have to pay another $250 for incidental coverage (on my credit card) to cover any thing I might damage THEIR room !. Should I acquire a "Police Check certificate " to prove I am a responsible senior? I'm done!!!!

Liked: Bed mattress was recently replaced.
Disliked: Cleanliness - rug stains thru room (shoes at all times req'd), black mold thru bathroom, sink dirty, crusty material on sink tap, excrement on toilet, wall holes, a/c musty smell. Paper thin walls.
