Comfort Inn & Suites - Chesterfield, Chesterfield

This was a great hotel to stay in for the night to attend a concert in Chesterfield. The hotel was quiet overnight and the bed was just perfect. The complimentary breakfast and lower nightly rate made it the best deal in the area.

Liked: Close to the sports complex, which was the purpose of our stay.
Disliked: I recently stayed at Comfort Inn and Suites St Louis - Chesterfield with my daughter, checking in on 3/22/2025 at approximately 6:30 PM. Unfortunately, our experience was not up to expectations, and I wanted to bring these issues to your attention.Upon arrival, we were informed that our room was not ready and were asked to return in 30 minutes. When we came back an hour later, we were finally able to check in. Additionally, we encountered several other issues during our stay:•The left elevator was not functioning properly.•The pool was unavailable for use.•In the morning, our television did not work due to an apparent internet connection issue.•Breakfast was not set out on time, and when it was, the quality was disappointing.I wanted to reach out to express my frustration and to see if any steps can be taken to address these concerns. I understand that occasional issues arise, but the number of inconveniences we encountered made our stay less than enjoyable.I would appreciate your response regarding these matters. Thank you for your time

Liked: It was very close to the ice rink where our hockey games were being played
Disliked: This hotel is in desperate need of renovation. The side door flew off its hinges and wasn't repaired during our stay, leaving the opening uncovered. One of the elevators wasn't working for much of our stay. The carpet in the room felt unclean. There were stains in the shower and on the bathroom walls. The pool was drained and out of service. The lobby chairs were way too big for the tables and space, making it very difficult to maneuver around tables without disrupting others.

Disliked: We had two rooms, my daughter and her family's room was gross, the comforter was "just nasty", she even thought it's one night maybe I will flip the comforter, and she did that, turns out it was worse then the side she took pictures of!! I ask the desk clerk to send a clean one to her room, he did and she was grateful but that nasty comforter should never had been put on a bed!Next , the entire building had NO HOT WATER!! That was totally unacceptable... knowing ALL this that there was no hot water, the staff should have mentioned that as we, and other guests checked in, giving us the opportunity to get other accommodations or at least, called or text the guests before arrival and give them the opportunity to make other arrangements for their stay...or as another suggestion, offer a discount! Seriously, what business does that? Not tell guests of issues they darn well know is a deal breaker and do nothing. Bad business.Offer a discount!!Then! To add insult to injury, the fire alarm went off at 4:20 in the morning!!! And kept going off periodically for the next hour!!! No one vacated the motel and then the fire dept came but did nothing so it was a false alarm! You can't make this stuff up.. it was a horrible stay and it will be a long time before my family will stay at a Comfort Inn....it totally was not "comfort" by any means... I wish I could get my money back or a partial pay ....
