Great price and great location...

Liked: The location was great for visiting our daughter's family. Just a quick 5-minute drive without having to get on a highway. The front desk was VERY helpful in finding us a quiet room, per our written request. We slept like babies, often until after 9:00 AM, which is almost unheard of for us. Perhaps because the curtains keep the room so nice and dark. There is a McD, WaWa and Dunkin nearby, so coffee and a quick breakfast are easy to find.
Disliked: The shower curtain rod was beginning to pull away from the wall, so the curtain let quite a bit of water out onto the bathroom floor during showers. A quick fix, I'm sure.

Our stay was memorable in...

Liked: It looks nice as you pull up and you can tell it’s had recent work done to make it LOOK somewhat appealing. But that quickly fades I assure you.
Disliked: The daytime staff was rude when checking in and trying to remedy a room issue. The first AND second room were not clean to a reasonable standard, I shouldn’t be afraid to get in the shower. There was broken amenities in the room. The air conditioner worked in waves. The TV was cracked. The desk was scratched beyond repair and the drawer on it was broken. The tub had a big stain that did not go away. The hallways had a growing amount of trash from the time we checked in to the time we checked out. The hallways smelled of smoke very clearly. Parking wasn’t limited but the motel next door had a lot of people using these spaces as they were “customers” of the various patrons of their establishment. We discovered our room door needed to be jammed shut to stay shut otherwise it just stayed open and wouldn’t lock. The room walls had cigarette burns. The cabling for the clock and such on the nightstand was a hot mess. The walls were thin enough I could hear the good times our neighbors and Nextdoor and above were having. 10 out of 10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. Go ahead and just book something in Virginia Beach. Anything is better than this joint.

Liked: Breakfast better than average for this type of amenity. Check in/ out both very easy. Beds very comfortable. Very quiet inside room especially since motel was all booked up and full.

I stayed one night and...

Liked: The hotel was nice. I didn’t have a bad experience. It was clean and well maintained. The area that the hotel is located in was a little rowdy but I believe there’s a club or bar right in front of it. Other than that it was good. The staff were friendly. They give complementary breakfast which was decent. I do wish the selection on that was more.

PUT THE DAMN $50 DEPOSIT...
