Comfort Inn Lancaster County , Columbia

Tucked neatly away this hotel is the perfect place to stay if you are visiting Lancaster PA. Our room was awesome, so clean and the most comfy beds! The breakfast area was clean and neat - a variety of foods to fill your belly. I give this hotel a definite thumbs up!

It did its job for...

Liked: The bed was comfortable and the staff was nice
Disliked: The entire hotel had a musty smell. Our sink clogged up, one morning the cleaners took all our towels (hanging up because I was going to reused mine) and garbage bag, but didn’t replace either of them. The stairway was kind of nasty with what looks like burn holes all over the carpet that was very outdated. Rip that up! Vending soda machines were out and the only thing that you could get out of the other vending machine (I don’t know if that worked) was soap. The pool was not the cleanest and the hot tub didn’t work. Lastly, the elevator was a little sketchy! Lot of bumping around that didn’t make me feel safe to ride it. There were signs the stated they were renovating but I didn’t see any renovations going on.

shitty rooms, friendly staff

Liked: staff was helpful and understanding. they helped us get a new room as soon as possible when we had an issue.
Disliked: the room we were put in was DISGUSTING. stains all over the carpet, couch, and walls. markings all over the walls and furniture. dirt on the carpet. all porcelain was yellow and gross. we were charged $180 per night for a room worth <$50 a nightm thanksfully the staff were able to give us a new room, but the original was UNACCEPTABLE.

Liked: The breakfast was nice. The bed was comfortable.
Disliked: The room was not clean. There was a grimy welcome card on the dresser, it was disgusting. There was hair in the bathtub and a slow drain. Also, there was a hot tub advertised on the website, it is no longer there. The tub we had was a juccuzi tub, but it wasn't very clean.

Liked: Nice people. Great coffee. Bed was comfortable and lots of pillows.
Disliked: No one cleaned room. Had a couple of ants and spiders. Fans in bathroom were VERY noisy. Pool nice, hot tub closed. Very small bathroom.
