Liked: The location was great. There was a steakhouse right outside the hotel entrance and Denny’s across the street. It’s also close to 2 grocery stores, though it’s not really in walking distance, on top of other businesses.
Disliked: The fire alarm went off just after midnight on the second floor, only a few rooms down from my room. It stayed on for at least 10 minutes, and after a staff member stopped it, it kept going off and on for another hour. At the check-in, 2 ladies were at the counter. There had been an issue somewhere, so they said they’d be right back, which was fine. I waited. When they came back, they didn’t say anything at all, so I figured they weren’t ready to help me and stayed a few steps back from the counter. The counter had 3 little windows, 2 on the right side and one around the corner on the left. One of the ladies was saying something behind the far right window. It wasn’t clear enough to hear at all, just barely audible, which turned out, she was talking to me. When I finally realized that she was trying to check me in, I walked up to the far right window. She was quite condescending as if I should’ve known better to be at the far right window to be helped. The other lady was at the 2nd window but wasn’t still ready to help. The 1st one who had condescending manner, had already taken my ID, but the 2nd lady didn’t seem to know what was going on and asked for my ID again. I didn’t realize at that moment that the first one had given my ID to the 2nd lady, so for a brief moment I thought they had lost my ID, in a matter of 5 seconds. Neither of them apologized for anything at all the entire time.
