Santa Cruz is a fuuuuuun place. The Comfort Inn, where I stayed, is close to the boardwalk so you can easily walk there. I had a great time: The weather was great, the room was nice and the Catalyst, where I saw three really great bands, was a good venue. I had a blast.

Liked: Friendly people; clean rooms; perfect for the night!
Disliked: Hmmm...nothing was bad. The room seemed a little cramped, but I was the only one there, so it was cozy.

Overall, the location was great and the room was decent for the price.

Liked: The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable.

Liked: The pillows and mattress were extremely comfortable. The hotel staff was very friendly. The grounds were well kept. I would definitely stay there again.

Liked: Location close to the beach yet quiet enough.
Disliked: Bed didn’t feel clean, it made me itch. Breakfast was full of ultra processed foods. Acoustics of the tv was bad.

Liked: Great location, free parking, ok (low end) free breakfast, rooms were clean.
Disliked: Expensive for a 1-2 star hotel. Heater is very noisy, not much in amenities (pool is tiny - the size of a large hot tub), looks a bit old/tired.
