Disliked: First, I reserved a jacuzzi room & I was really looking forward to it. When I arrived, they said sorry they don’t have any jacuzzi rooms left, even though I had reserved it. Then since I don’t live terribly far away, they held $150 as a deposit because we are considered local. My husband and I wanted some alone time so we had a babysitter. Since we arrived so late after a function we went to near by I called the front desk to request a check out at 12:00 instead of 11 AM. I was told that I would have to pay a $25 fee, in this hotel was maybe 1/4 to 1/3 full. Lastly, I asked the front desk to speak to the manager and they said one wasn’t available. I asked the front desk if they could please have one please call me when they arrive in the morning and he said he would do so. I never received a call from the manager at any time the next morning. Also, the breakfast was terrible and cold. I was incredibly disappointed and quite frankly in awe with a lack of customer service and willingness to accommodate a guest. I’ll definitely be passing the word around not to go to their hotel.

Disliked: I did not like the fact that I tried to reach out to the hotel and booking.com to let them Know I would not be arriving until Thursday morning October 17th due to travel delays from hurricane causing interstate closure. No one answered my numerous calls and when I brought it up to the hotel they said I still had to pay for Wednesday the 16th of October even though I was not there. I find this Truly upsetting because it was $205 dollars I paid for a room I was not even in. If someone would have answered the phone this issue wouldn't be an issue.

Disappointing

Disliked: The same breakfast for the 7 days we were there.. eggs from a microwave and flat sausages.

Great place to stay!

Liked: I found this room on Booking.com. The reviews looked good so we took a chance. I say this because we stayed at a place called the Edgewater Hotel in Seabrook Texas about a month ago that turned out to be a nightmare. Don't stay there if you are planning to go to Texas. Anyway, I can't say enough about this hotel. It was amazing. This place didn't question me about my service dog. Never once did anyone even attempt to charge me a cleaning fee like the Edgewater did. They had eggs and sausage for breakfast, unlike the Edgewater! You could even take it to your room if you wanted to. Oh, and the elevator works! The people are very friendly and makes you feel at home. Thanks for the wonderful one night stay! Sorry if this seems like a review for Edgewater but it's really not. It's more of a comparison. I'll be sure to put this review on Google and add them in the link so they can come to NC to see how a hotel is supposed to be ran.
