Excellent facility, but surprise deposit...

Liked: Hotel was clean, well maintained, very good breakfast. The morning clerk was friendly and helpful at check out.
Disliked: Evening clerk was on the phone with a friend the entire time I and two others checked in. She was unhelpful and seemed to be completely consumed with her phone call. Also, she said that a $100 deposit was mandatory upon check in. I'm not totally against a deposit, but it should have been stated at some point during the initial booking, and not sprung on me at check in!
