Good for local business trip

Liked: Stayed for work, pretty basic but decent sized room

Position was good but rooms...

Liked: When we walked into room it smelt damp and you could see mould on roof that was just washed down. No cutlery supplied, had to ask for it. Bathroom sink was blocked. They did come and fix the bathroom light that wasn’t working. Laundry was good and convenient.

Dissappointing

Disliked: Very tired, lots of things broken & grotty (bathroom). People were hanging out on deck chairs with esky in the carport right opposite our room smoking & drinking. Housecleaning tried to get into our room on our first morning & had a go about us being past check out time when we were booked for 2 nights… said we needed to go & speak with manager. Manager phoned housekeeping shortly after as had forgotten to inform them we were booked for 2 nights. Pillows were rubbish, had to ask for coat hangers & ironing board as not in room & we were there for a wedding. Told housekeeping not to worry re cleaning our room - over priced for how shabby it was, disappointed!

It did the job but...

Liked: The location was the only good thing
Disliked: The hotel was run down and used as housing commission for homeless. The noise was terrible and there were people sleeping in cars in the car park. We didn’t feel safe.

Exceptional

Liked: It was nice and quiet.
Disliked: Next time I would get a room with a balcony or a door so we could sit outside.
