Liked: Some parts of the apartments were aged and needed updating.Some lights faulty; door handles loose, curtains not working properly. Location was excellent. Staff excellent.

Liked: Good location near the museum. Could walk into city but also close to the free city circle tram. Nice restaurants on Gertrude street which is close by.
Disliked: Bit tired in places. e.g. peeling paintwork on balcony railings.

Great location but did not...

Liked: Location is excellent and staff were great. It was good to have a washing machine and dryer in the room and the apartment was quite spacious.
Disliked: The apartments are very dated and while surface level clean, there was mould present in the bathroom and kitchen. We stayed on a weekend where there was a significant sporting event in Melbourne and therefore paid a premium price for this apartment. We definitely did not get what we were paying for. It is advertised as a daily serviced apartment Mon-Sat however they don't service on weekends at all, so we only had one service during our four-night stay. This would have been fine for us, but there were no additional towels provided to mitigate (one towel provided per person - two total). The one day we did have a room service none of the amenities (instant coffee sachets, milk, toiletries) were replaced nor were the sheets or towels. Obviously this is a luxury, but when you choose a serviced apartment or hotel over an Airbnb, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect a certain level of service particularly when paying over 3x the standard room rate per night. Overall, if you pay the standard price I think the apartment would be passable given the excellent location, however for the inflated price we paid and the inconsistency with what was advertised versus what we experienced, I wouldn't consider staying there again.
