Liked: spacious accommodationcomfortable loungenice grounds and poolstaff work hard and very helpful location is good - on 86 and 96 tram lines restaurants and cafes nearby. The St. Andrews pub nearby serves good food. near the Melbourne museum
Disliked: noisy at night - people in the pool late at night, people walking through the grounds and sitting in the grounds talking and smoking to early morning no housekeeping at weekends bed was uncomfortable supermarket (coles) was over a mile away but after walking there late one night we found that the 86 tram ran from near the hotel to the supermarket. It would have been helpful to know that when we booked in.

Disliked: No air conditioning. Temps for first 4 days 30-35 degrees. Eventually given 1 fan and next day a second fan. Air conditioning unit leaked on to tv on a wall bracket directly below. Even tho I turned air conditioner unit off when I woke to hear dripping it had ruined TV. Manager had audacity to blame me for the TV being ruined. They gave me a non smart TV with no remote and found it very difficult to operate manually. My apartment was serviced for the first 2days of stay. Knew it wouldn’t be over the weekend but didn’t get serviced again even tho I requested it. So no sheets changed or room cleaned in my 7 day stay!I did get some compensation for the lack of air conditioning after a bit of a battle with manager but the lack of room servicing was the last straw. Also it was up 3 flights of stairs. No lift. Guests should be informed about this when booking. I’m fit but could be really difficult if you weren’t.
