Glad I didn't see Google (map) ratings for this or I would have been second guessing. Honestly, best place I have ever stayed at, the part of town is not in the slums. Orange taxis are always available despite it being Rock on the Range weekend. They were friendly - cheaper then a DUI/OVI I guess. Will make this my choice to stay any time we go to Columbus and have a good time. A McDonald's, Wendy's & Donatos Pizza in walking range. Ice is widely available to keep whatever is in the cooler, cold. If you have movie's on your phone don't forget the cable - they make it easy to connect it to the TV. They might have had one (mini HDMI) in the bag. I use a mini HDMI with USB to reg size. They did have pool and pretty sure a hot tub - didn't use but walked past a few time. You don't have to walk real far if you park anyway - just use your key card to get in from the back. The reason I'm going into detail is I spent a lot of time going over reviews when I wanted to choose a place to stay. I don't want to stay in another bad place ever. Not worth going cheap on.

Disliked: Can not think of anything (nit-pick: coffee maker in bathroom sealed up, and no fridge).

Disliked: Beds and pillows are terribly worn and uncomfortable. Both need to be replaced.Numerous cars were broken into during one of my nights. This alone may make me reconsider if I’ll ever stay there again.

Bad

Disliked: Stayed for a softball tournament. Found a blunt outside in hallway in front of our door. Woke up in the morning to find my husbands truck window was smashed out glove box tore open along with 5 other cars even though they had a security driver driving the parking lot, you pay 10$ for parking, parking lot wasn’t that full, and they only had one way in. Staff didn’t know or acted as though they didn’t know of the procedure for the vandalism. Still waiting to see if our stay will be refunded due to us having to pay our deductible for a window. That’s at least they can do for making you feel unsafe at a place that was not secured and out of pocket for expenses.
