Liked: Gale was so kind to explain and show how to use the facilities and gave us the chance to enjoy snow shoeing and sledding at the local area near to the cabin. My kids had a lots of fun and made good memories during the stay.
Disliked: Nothing at all.

Columbine Cabins are a great...

Liked: We chose this facility primarily due to location and wanting to travel with a pet. Also, every review that we read was positive. We were not disappointed. It was a great place to stay for all that we needed. We arrived late in the afternoon on Christmas Day, and walked into a warm, cozy cabin. We settled in, and walked over to the hot tub, (which was extremely clean) and took the time to relax after having traveled most of the day! The town itself was charming and friendly, as were the hosts of Columbine Cabins. Any first glance negatives (like the tiny bathroom or hooks to dry our winter clothes) soon became cherished memories that we will hold deep in our hearts for years to come as we look back on a wonderful trip with our adult son. When they say well-stocked kitchen, believe it! Everything that we needed, and more, was right there. We loved our walk through the neighborhood behind the cabins over to the lake, and the market next door was great as well. We would definitely return!
Disliked: Maybe a few hooks to hang towels or wet winter gear!

Liked: These rustic cabins are modest and the located right outside the Rocky Mountain NP.
Disliked: Our stay was very unpleasant to put it mildly. We were a family of four adults and needed to both sofa beds and the queen bed but one of the sofas had stains of bodily fluids on the mattress and sheet. The other sofa looked very shabby as if it was not cleaned in years and the queen bed had a bad odour. The landlady changed the stained sheet but refused our request to change the stained mattress!! We'd have packed and left but my 70+ parents were with us and we had a long day exploring the park and were exhausted and it was past 8 pm when we noticed the problem.I requested a refund afterward but not only was it rejected but the landlady insisted everything was clean. She didn't even tender an honest apology!! I wouldn't recommend this place at all and would suggest looking elsewhere.
