It was my husband's birthday weekend. We went to the concert at Maryhill which was great! Unfortunately when we got to our hotel room, it was outdated, and the bed was awful. We will never stay at another Shilo Inn.

We enjoyed our stay here! It was outdated but was clean and offered all the amenities of any other hotel nearby. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Liked: I believe our room was #111Was expecting a bit of an “outdated” room because that is what I saw in the photos when I booked! To my surprise we got one of the newly renovated rooms and it was a pleasant surprise! The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean!
Disliked: I think, maybe, due to the new renovations there were a couple small issues with our room. The first that my husband noticed was the bathroom sink would only run hot water and if it ran for a little the water was untouchable hot. We had to quickly was hands. Another issue was our TV.. it was very difficult to turn on. We would continuously press the power button and it would not turn on. My husband somehow figured it out each time we turned it on.

I would never stay here...

Liked: I liked the lobby, it was the nicest part of the entire building. Makes you feel like you'll be staying somewhere nice. The restaurant served good food and drinks. I enjoyed the concept of the swimming pool. The historic out building were cool, however the entire ground was covered in broken glass and garbage.
Disliked: The pool was closed (not due to season but as it had not been treated). The lighting in the rooms was awful. The complimentary breakfast bar was not completed. The rooms were not completed. One of the rooms we reserved did not have the ability to take a bath. The floors were cracked, as was a toilet handle. One room had an additional chair for sitting the other did not. I understand the hotel is being renovated, but our rooms were definitely not worth the price we paid. The attentiveness in the restaurant was terrible, we had to ask for a kids menu and flag down staff for the rest of our party to order.
