Convenient but disappointing
Liked: Staff was very friendly
Disliked: No hot water to shower Saturday morning, let faucets run for 20 minutes and still not even warm water. Toilet leaked between bowl and tank when flushed. Desk chair very wobbly when sat down, felt like I was going to tip over.

Stunning historical property in downtown...
Liked: We absolutely loved the Historically, renovated property. The location was excellent. It was easy to walk anywhere you needed to go downtown. The staff is extremely courteous, and the property was very clean. We would recommend this to family or friends and we would also come back
Disliked: We only had A minor problem with the heat controls. They’re not a digital control that we used to and we had to Ask maintenance to help us, but they were able to do that and we’re very kind. That’s really All I can think of

Rough area, not walkable, no...
Liked: No breakfast, view of the parking garage was amazing. The unhoused individuals surrounding the hotel may have been better prepared for the lack of hot water than we were based on their lived experience.
Disliked: No hot wat water, creepy white nationalist vibe in lobby, no staff in sight. Also room was tiny and outdated. Beds were very firm. Booked a king sized bed, got 2 full size beds.

Disliked: Shower could use an update

Fantastic location and beautiful hotel...
Liked: The room was large. The bed was comfortable. The hotel is dated and could use some updates but has tons of character. Location can’t be beat. We were there for the Indianapolis Marathon over Veterans Day weekend. City lights were beautiful.
Disliked: The bathroom faucet had rust on it. The wallpaper was peeling. I understand the building is 100 years old and can appreciate that. Some updates are needed though.
