Liked: Room 304 was lovely and spacious. Beautiful view over river and castle.
Disliked: Shower lovely and warm but shower curtain was short. It was150mm short of the lip of the bath. Constantly having to hold on to it to stop water cascading onto floor.

Liked: We used to stay here often years ago. The location is great, and the price is okay. Great that it is dog friendly, and the lovely staff watched the dog and allowed us to eat breakfast as they were not allowed in the breakfast room. That was fine, though he was quite happy.
Disliked: The hotel is looking very run down and in need of money being spent on it to bring it back to its former standards. The whole place, including the rooms, looked a little tired.

Liked: Good location. Close to Eden Court, cafes and shopping.
Disliked: For the price it was fair however there was a cold draft coming through the window even though it was fully closed.

Liked: I love the faded grandeur of The Columba.
Disliked: The breakfast is terrible when the hotel is quiet. The coffee is grey!

Liked: Location was ideal for being in the city and right on the river.We had a delayed flight and check in went smoothly even though we were delayed.
Disliked: Small lights in our room weren't working, beds were 2 singles instead of a double and the shower had mould
