Adequate for a one night...

Liked: Unit (in building at the back) was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was okay.
Disliked: Location - not walkable. We had assumed that being on the High Street would mean there would be pavements and it would be safe to walk to restaurants. Instead we had to drive the half mile to the nearest restaurant, and had a much longer drive back due to the property being on a one way road.

nice place and ideal to...

Liked: A nice hotel and nice room, which had a fridge freezer and a microwave. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. In the lobby of the hotel there was a machine that you could be used to make coffee and tea any time of the day. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was quite basic but filling: in the lobby you could make toast, and there was porridge, cereal, fruit, yoghurt and juices, which you could take to your room. It was a good place from which to explore the Acadia National park.
Disliked: There were facilities for guest to use a washing machine and drier, and it would be useful for the hotel to add that to the information on their website.
