Pleasant

Liked: Good location, friendly staff.
Disliked: The property is undergoing renovations, so there was a strong smell of paint. I understand renovations are needed, so I overlooked that. The beds were so hard, though. To my knowledge, I've never written a review about beds, but these were exceptionally hard. This is less of a complaint and more of a heads up, but make sure you lock the door that leads outside your room. I assumed at first that it was just a window, but ours was an unlocked door. This wasn't a terrible place to stay, but it wasn't my favorite.

Bad

Disliked: I arrived at 12:30 am There was a neon sign that read Open but a paper sign that said the office was closed 12-6 and there was no one at the "night window" to check me in and no one answered the phone. I had to travel back up the highway about fifteen miles to the holiday inn and pay twice the amount. I think they should have night staff in winter or be clear about it. Also, there was someone in the parking lot organising a Haul and throwing stuff into a bin. Perhaps this was hotel staff? But I wasn't about to approach a closed in vehicle while alone at night as a woman. really disappointing experience that made me feel unsafe. I am still not sure if I received my money back yet.

Good for an emergency night...

Liked: Good location
Disliked: The room we were in was recently upgraded. Coffee machine but no coffee. Toilet was situated in a way that wouldn’t accommodate anybody with long legs. No coat rack area. The patio doors leading to an outside walkway did not lock which wasn’t secure. No amenities in the lobby.

It was an OK stay..

Liked: Honestly, I like the TV service many options. Enjoyed myself watching television great shows to channel no complaints there.
Disliked: I think the shower could be a little better, especially the showerhead they were using wasn’t shooting out enough water. That needs to be fixed. Also the room I had broken closet doors.

Won't stay again

Disliked: Beds and pillows were uncomfortable

Liked: Conveniently located off I81, near gas stations and restaurants, comfortable room.
Disliked: Breakfast not available, noise from heavy-footed patrons overhead kept me awake late( despite ear plugs and white noise machine) and woke me before 6am!
