Disliked: Moved to another hotel at night due to a "leak", no one else was moved to the "upgrade" we were offered. Incredibly negative experience.

Disliked: There was no reception and you had to ring a number to be let in there was fluid marks on the walls of the bedroom the whole place needed some tlc and there was a strange blacked out window in the room requested 2 single beds and only got a double

Liked: The room is nice. The shower is the highlight of the stay. It's a comfy stay. You've got all the basics in the room. The only downside is the checking-in is a bit unusual as you have to ring a number to check in and there are stairs to climb to most rooms, but I enjoyed that as it reminds me of being on a cruise ship. It's very close to the city and it's only a 5 minute walk to PnS. Bus stops are very close by. It's a nice stay. It's a quiet motel. The room size is good. The room's are clean and tidy. I will stay at the Colombo Lodge again especially if they can offer me the same price's I got on this trip.

The actual condition and service are far below expectations, and I strongly advise against booking.- Cleanliness and Odor: The property exhibited extremely poor cleanliness and a pervasive, unpleasant odor.- Location: The location is in a demonstrably undesirable area of the city.- Misleading Photos: The photographs on the booking platform are heavily edited and do not accurately reflect the property's current state. They create a false impression of luxury and quality.- Overcharging: The price charged is grossly disproportionate to the actual value and condition of the accommodation.- Reception and Key Access: Despite advertised reception hours until 9 PM, there was no staff present at 7 PM. I had to rely on a neighboring business to contact the property owner for key retrieval.- Parking and Building Access: While there is a door between the car park and the building, it is not accessible without prior check-in and key retrieval. This necessitates a significant detour around the block for guests arriving by car to reach the reception. This is particularly inconvenient.- Accessibility: The property lacks an elevator, posing a challenge for guests with mobility issues.- "Sky Roof" Misrepresentation: The advertised "sky roof" is simply a skylight with blinds and is not a notable feature.In conclusion, this property is unacceptable due to its poor condition, misleading advertising, and lack of basic service. I experienced significant issues with cleanliness, accessibility, and parking access. I strongly recommend exploring alternative accommodations.
