Liked: The family room size was good. Beds were nice and clean. Gym and swimming pool are great.Breakfast was decent. Gym is good. Location is pretty close to the Newport center.
Disliked: Very limited room service and staff to address customer needs. No waiter or manager to take orders at the bar. Customer themselves have to order food at counter, pay card at counter.. No a some staff to help customer for their needs. Food was also average and highly expensive. The room and corridor carpet needs a much awaited replacement.I wish the hot could have included the parking cost in the room rate rather than charging 12£ per night extra for the parking. Unseen.

Liked: This was our second time in the hotel and we will not come back
Disliked: -paid carpark that we were not aware of -shared with the other hotel pool -broken tap -booked a DOUBLE bed, was given two single beds that were keep on rolling away through the night -pancakes that had to pay for???

Nice place for a cheap...

Liked: Smaller than The Celtic Manor so less people. The restaurant was stunning, decor, food, staff, everything. Comfortable main area, nice music and spacious. Friendly reception staff. Ashley and Charlotte at the bar on Friday evening were just wonderful, helpful suggestions on drinks, and Charlotte made THE BEST pina colada ❤️
Disliked: Noisy bed and pillows. Pillows too soft so you sank in the middle of them. VERY noisy people in the corridor from 11pm till early hours. A family lying in the breakfast restaurant and stealing food!

Staff lovely but basic run...

Liked: The staff were friendly and helpful and corrected the issues we had with our original room.
Disliked: Original room was covered in marks all over the floor and both rooms were basic at best no lighting in the ceiling just floor lamps etc and no mini fridge. The price for the hotel is ridiculous for what you get. We travel a lot and stay at lots of hotels. We will not be back. When booking I was under the impression we would be in the Celtic Manor - especially for the price, the hotel is like a Holiday/Premier Inn. We have also never had to pay for parking on top of a stay!

Disliked: Wasn’t simple to get extra coffee, passed to 4 different staff. My bed sheet wasn’t on probably.Top decor sheet dirty.Restaurant was awful. Very loud as near bar and I had a child.
