Exceptional

A little gem.

Liked: From the excellent location, good parking, friendly welcome, and comfortable room, i would rate this little gem of an hotel as superb. The bed was very comfortable and the room very clean. I particularly liked the bathroom with the rain shower. Breakfast was the best continental I've ever had. The choice and quality was to die for. I wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy it all. Very good coffee as well, not something you usually find in hotels these days.
Disliked: The outside of the hotel could do with a tidy up. I found the fake blossoming trees a bit quirky, especially the plastic flowers scattered all over the ground. A bit of updating wouldn't go amiss. The rear entrance could do with a good clean-up as it didn't do the hotel any justice.

Pleasant

Liked: The room was clean and the staff were accommodating with requests. Staff were very nice and friendly and exceptionally helpful.
Disliked: The pillows were a little hard which didn't make for a restful sleep time. Upon booking, it did say breakfast was included and we would of preferred a full English breakfast and not continental. Only after booking did we know about this. It should be clearly stated at the point of booking. However, this did not ruin our break as the breakfast provided was still very nice.

Wonderful hotel

Liked: Room was amazing and the the bathroom was beautiful. Facilities in the room were superb with kettle , coffee machine and everything needed for both.
Disliked: There was only a continental breakfast available.

Liked: Great hotel, breakfast fine, room was warm & cozy. Manager on duty was exceptional in a positive way.Internet worked, no complaints here. Overall, great experience.

Liked: Perfect position. Very quirky and staff great
