Liked: Excellent central location for walking around Colchester. Parking on site was perfect for us although the entrance would not have been comfortable for a larger car.
Disliked: We were misinformed by Booking.com that in order to obtain a room with en suite facilities we needed to upgrade. The upgrade misinformed the hotel that we wanted a twin bedded room. On arrival we found that all rooms were en suite (so we had unnecessarily paid for the upgrade) and we didn't want a twin bedded room. The manager quickly sorted out the problem for us and was extremely helpful in making sure we had a very nice room and stay.
