Liked: What a beautiful hotel. Fantastic location near city centre - and with a car park.The manager Daniel was so helpful, with information about the hotel and what to do in Colchester. The hotel staff; Roland and the ladies, were also amazing. The famous Continental Breakfast was just that - amazing. Plenty of choice to set you up for the day. No hesitation in recommending Boutique Hotel Colchester.

Disliked: Single beds were of the small variety.My daughter's bed is wider. Did the job but maybe the room would be better with a double bed but then it would not have been good for sharing with my daughter.

Liked: Daniel went above and beyond when we had to stay on for an extra day. could not have asked for better, Fantastic host and the breakfast was brilliant, the decor and cleanliness is amazing. Spot on, you won’t be disappointed

Liked: It was a very old property, nice garden room was spacious and comfortable great shower yummy breakfast everything you needed so fresh even catered for me (dairy free) staff were welcoming and friendly nothing was too much trouble free parking in a secure car park which was an added bonus for the city
Disliked: The only thing was the heating couldn’t turn it off but could open the window
