Liked: Breakfast was continental it was lovely great selection of breads pastries meats cheese jams preserves fruit ect we couldn't ask for more excellent staff were very helpful kind and courteous towards us the boutique hotel was beautiful colchester is a beautiful historic city and we hope to be back that way soon to see James Roland and Daniel who are very exceptional people who made our short stay very enjoyable

Liked: This was a very pleasant stay.. The staff were very welcoming, and always available. The room had a very comfortable, homely feel and Breakfast was lovely. We will definitely stay again.

Overnight stay in delightful 300...

Liked: It is a charming period building, well located, with easy access to cultural sites, shops, pubs and restaurants. The room was small, but clean, comfortable and fully equipped.
Disliked: The lighting between the main building and the accommodation block was pretty dim. Brighter lighting over the path would help.
