A good experience overall.
Liked: Spacious and clean room, effective yet quiet air conditioning, comfortable bed, refrigerator in the room. Breakfast made for you every morning is a nice start for the day.
Disliked: Sound insulation is poor, street noise tends to keep you awake late in the evening and crowing roosters wake you up early in the morning. Wifi signal was weak and prone to interruption.

Liked: Can’t beat the location on Whitehead St.

Good
Liked: Excellent location within walking distance of many cafes, bars and restaurants. The small heated pool was nestled right in the heart of the property, surrounded by wonderfully green palm trees. Water and ice machines beside the pool were handy. Nice to have a large shower with two showerheads in our bathroom.
Disliked: Breakfast: The breakfast service was rather unfriendly and disorganised. We were rudely told by the chef that we had to wait until one of the three tables freed up before we would be served. This low capacity seemed inappropriate given the number of rooms onsite. We saw others receive a similarly curt treatment. Room size: Our room was quite cramped, meaning that it was difficult to walk around the room once we had opened our suitcases.Noise: The property didn't seem to be extremely well soundproofed, so bring some earplugs, especially for those rooms facing the street - there is a lively bar next door.Parking: No parking on-site. There is just one "drop-off" space for unloading luggage. The problem is that we often saw the space occupied for many hours by the same vehicle. This setup makes check-in and check-out rather impractical, especially given the busy street that the hotel backs onto.
