Family friendly, great location, perfect...

Liked: We've stayed here in the past and again it was a great stay. The staff that we did have contact with were friendly and helpful, check in was quick! We had a great room with a nice lake view. The location was perfect for our trip, great access to restaurants and shopping.
Disliked: Nothing, really everything was great!

It was adequate but felt...

Disliked: I booked a disability room and thought I would be getting a walk in shower. I have hip and knee issues that make it difficult and dangerous for me to climb in and out of a tub. I was not given what I booked and they said they were all full. So basically I was out of luck.

Nice hotel, but pricey

Liked: Pet friendly, which is important to us (but I don't think there should be a restriction on the size of the dog). Beautiful hotel right near Lake Superior. Average hotel breakfast. Nice area of town.
Disliked: Expensive! We paid $313 after taxes and fees for the one night, plus $25 to have our dog with us. Then, they added $2 for the use of the in-room safe, with no option to decline it up front. When we checked out, they kindly refunded the $2 upon request as promised, but it seemed like being nickel and dimed for a service we did not need or want. Why make people have to remember to ask for the refund--I'll bet a lot of people don't do that, and that may be the point??

It was ok but I...

Liked: It was convenient, it was clean.
Disliked: The room was dark. There was one chair- an extremely uncomfortable stained office chair. I had to ask the front desk twice to deal with a super slow toilet that threatened to overflow, in the meantime I was using the toilet in the hall. Not cool for $200+ a night. I got charged for the safe even though I specifically asked on check in to remove the charge. I went BACK to the hotel after I was mailed the invoice and saw this, to have it resolved. No one was there that could do anything about it, and I have yet to see any resolution.
