Nice rooms but desperately needs...

Liked: Overall the room itself was mostly fine. The bed was very comfortable, and the wifi was strong. The continental breakfast in the morning was good as well.
Disliked: Unfortunately, a friend was staying in the hotel on the first floor, and while we were out, his room was broken into and items were stolen. It appears they broke in through the patio doors that go directly to the parking lot, and then left through the hotel door, as the deadbolt has been unlocked. As a result, I then tried to lock the deadbolt on my room on the 2nd floor, but it would not latch properly, as it was hitting the locking plate, rather than engaging. It wasn't a great experience, and as a result, I had a pretty poor sleep.I didn't ask to change rooms as I was only there for one night and it was already 12:30am at this point.My friend did not stay in the hotel in the end, they chose to leave and drove home in the middle of the night. The hotel did refund him the room, but he was pretty upset about the experience. You can see in the picture included, how I ended up securing my door for the night.

Liked: Nice big, clean, bright room. Staff was super friendly, and location was perfect for where we needed to be.
Disliked: I prefer a tub, verses shower, although our room had a big beautiful shower, I like to soak before bed, especially on cold, wet, windy nights out. But that's just personal preference.
