This was an enjoyable stay! The staff were friendly; the room was clean and comfy. It was easy to walk to train to take to Commonwealth Stadium.

Liked: The front desk service was very friendly and efficient.
Disliked: The service in the restaurant was very slow.

Liked: How close it was to rogers arena. And the breakfast was good.
Disliked: We stayed for 3 days. We didn't have 1 hot shower! Not 1! Cold showers everyday. Housekeeping never brought fresh towels once! staff dismissed us when we complained. I was requesting a refund of one day for the HUGE inconvenience, but nothing.

Liked: Drove from Saskatchewan and the staff were unreasonable with letting me use 2 cards. Credit card for incidental fee and visa debit for room fee. They did not care that I drove 5 hours, I asked to speak to manager and they said they did not have a manager. Horrible experience. I went to another hotel and was able to split the transactions there.

Other than check in..

Liked: Their machines were down when we came to check in. We had been on the road for over 6 hours, even once approved, they wouldn't give us the keys until "their accounts" showed the monies, including asking me to go online to see if it was charged to my card. And then never did anything about the 1.5 hours it took to check us in. Loved the pool and hot tub.

Zero value for our money.

Liked: 1. Pay parking at a hotel is ridiculous. Rare or nonexistent in proper tourist towns.2. The check-in experience was unpleasant and unnecessarily long.3. The bathroom fan didn’t work, the shower had no pressure with tepid water, the smoke detector strobe flashed in the room all night.4. The rooms are not soundproof as mentioned: we got to listen to our neighbours making noise for hours.5. If you don’t have a continental breakfast coupon, a small drip coffee will set you back $3.41. More than a proper coffee in a cafe. I wonder how much a bowl of cereal or a banana costs!?6. Room key cards didn’t work at 7am the day of checkout.Will be thinking twice about staying at a Coast/APA hotel going forward.
