Exceptional
Liked: EVERYTHING - From The Front Desk to the Maintenance Crew to Housekeeping Staff, everyone greets you and makes your stay memorable. The mini golf course is a big plus. The FUN activities they make happen keep the guests feeling welcomed.
Disliked: There was nothing we didn't like during our stay.

Worst hotel experience of my...
Liked: The accommodations have been nice on previous stays.
Disliked: Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had!! I had (and still have a confirmed reservation. I called the facility a day before arrival to confirm and make a room request. Upon arrival we were told we didn’t have a reservation and that it showed we canceled it. I repeatedly showed them my still confirmed reservation status and that I had prepaid! I was told there was nothing they could do and given a number to call. It took 2 hours on the phone to get a new place to stay. My son who has autism had been asking to stay at this specific hotel for over a year so when we had a sudden cancellation of our plans after an 8 hour drive and not enough food he had a meltdown and crying (which is part of his condition) this was “interrupting” their wine hour and they threatened to call the police if we didn’t leave immediately. The staff said they overbooked all the time and cancel peoples reservation.

Liked: N/A Reservation not honored
Disliked: We received confirmation for our reservation on 8/21/2024. We were charged for our stay, in full, on 10/4/2024. On 10/8/2024, the afternoon before we were to check into our rooms, we were notified by the resort that they "could not honor our reservation". When I asked why, I was told that it was because they had a "last-minute reservation". What??I'm not sure if the fault lies with the resort or if it was the negligence of Booking.com. Either way, we were very disappointed by the inconvenience and the HOURS that I spent, on hold with Booking.com, to verify the cancelation, figure out the next step and rebook at another hotel. We were able to find another hotel for our trip, but, because we had already paid for the stay, we were locked into using the booking.com listings. At that point, I was not sure that I wanted to use a third party for reservations.
