Disliked: They locked us out of our room for the night because the door was locked. Transferred us to an 'upgraded room' which was hardly an upgrade. We were without all of our clothes, toiletries and valuables for the night. Disgraceful that they didn't offer any compensation for this. Absolutely appalled.

Comfortable bed looking up into...

Liked: Bed and pillow were lovely. Shower was a bit small. Not much interaction with staff. Even when you checked in with them face to face - they have you go to the kiosk to do the final checking in. Location was incredible. So easy to get to so many places and also great walking from hotel to various sites including walking over Brooklyn Bridge, going to Battery park and Governor's Island.
Disliked: Did not realize that there was no bar or restaurant per se at hotel. Found some great breakfast diners in the area. Also had hoped to be able to have a drink at end of day when one got back to hotel but no go.
