Beautiful property, but not worth...

Liked: It’s a pretty castle looking building. The restaurant was nice.
Disliked: At this price point I would expect some sort of spa/ sauna facility. The pillows were very cheap and uncomfortable. We could also hear the neighbors tv late into the night.

Luxurious, beautiful, magical castle stay

Liked: The decor at this hotel is magical. We celebrated my daughter’s birthday and she got a lovely gift and we got a room upgraded. The room was stunning. The kids didn’t want to leave because the room was so fun to play in, and I really enjoyed relaxing in the room. We also really enjoyed exploring the art and the beautiful secret spaces and the little garden. The breakfast was to die for. The location was really nice too, close to the water, but also near a big grocery store, which helped with picky eaters. We feel most thoroughly spoiled.
Disliked: There was an event at the hotel on one of the days, and from lunch till late at night there were so many people and there was no place to sit in the public spaces. It was kind of sad we could t explore the property as freely that day. We made up for it the next day though. But it would have been nice to know ahead of time there’s gonna be a long event, so we would have started our day earlier that day. That said, I am still so glad we came.

Everything my daughter had dreamed...

Liked: They acknowledged the fact it was my daughters 40th Birthday with a bottle of fizz in our room.
Disliked: The distance from town centre has been misleading on other reviews. The hotel was in an unusual part of Dublin & would be great in the summer as so near the coast.Taxis are expensive so try & sort the buses if you can.
