Liked: The room and bed were smaller than i expected. There isn’t much noise proof from upstairs and outside. But overall it was ok but I would not want to go back the hotel.

Liked: The music was so loud could not sleep I was in room 30 the music did not get turned off tillMidnight not very considerate surely could at least have been turned down. At 10 impossible to sleep hence rating!
Disliked: Advise when booking which rooms willBe noisy you must know !

Liked: Check-in was easy. Room was well prepared. Breakfast was excellent
Disliked: The bar closes at 7pm on Sundays, but that was ok.

Liked: I love this hotel and stay here whenever I am in Bristol. The location and staff are great, and I love the bistro and outdoor bar area. A great atmosphere. This time however, I have a couple of negatives. Fruit is supplied in the room (great) but the bowl was grubby. It made me think it was leftover from a previous occupant. Also, the bed sheet was loose fitting and slightly uncomfortable. Strange stains on the fleece bed throw.

Liked: Great location with everything you needed, Wi-Fi, tea, coffee, hairdryer, etc. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had breakfasts & an evening meal in the restaurant and it was excellent.
Disliked: Both the bedroom & bathroom needed decorating as all the paint work was grotty and the windows badly needed cleaning inside.

Liked: A friendly face, authentic engagement goes a long way for a seasoned traveller. Staff who want to be there, are trained up and don't make a big deal of anything. Bravo Clifton Hotel - you have set the bar ! Restaurant staff equally obliging, food was excellent and a good atmosphere with students taking over one part of Racks for a table quiz ! Highly recommend.
Disliked: Overall a great experience. My only gripe. If you have a larger back with rollers, the deep pile carpet isn't great in the corridors.
