Great location, nice staff but...

Liked: The location in the Clifton district is excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The complimentary tea and coffee, biscuits and apples, in the room was appreciated. The Racks bar and Kitchen was a nice place to hang out and have drinks and food. It made the perfect meeting spot for a rendezvous with family before dinner.
Disliked: The rooms are very tatty and need updating. The paintwork was battered and peeling off. The bed was fairly comfortable, but the headboard had some questionable stains on it which was pretty disgusting :(The car park is super difficult to find and down a small alleyway. I drove around 3x looking for it. On arrival there were a group of youths outside the roller shutter smoking weed. I had to get out of my car to press the intercom to request access which made me feel uncomfortable.
