Disappointed

Liked: Food, drinks and staff were amazing. Rooms were very clean and exactly what was expected.
Disliked: My wife and I specially booked the hotel to spend time in the hot tub, outside, overlooking the ocean. We were informed that the hot tub opened at 9 am. We planned the following morning completely around spending time in the hot tub before checkout. The hot tub was covered in a netting, indicating it was closed. We attempted to find staff over and over again but we're unsuccessful. We walked down every half hour to see if it was open. Which it never did. It might sound stupid, but the whole reason for our trip was to spend time together in the hot tub overlooking the ocean. Extremely disappointing.

Had heard so much hype...

Liked: Beautiful location. Rooms also lovely.
Disliked: Way overpriced for off season. Didn’t have staff to make it the experience it should have been. Extra charges on top of the room cost seemed outrageous.

Liked: We loved the comfortable beds, friendly staff and location.
Disliked: The paint is severely chipping on the balcony which led to us bringing paint chips in on our feet unknowingly.

Liked: Beautiful room and view of the ocean. We had breakfast and dinner at the Tiller 4 times and enjoyed each experience. Waiters were very good and food was amazing.
Disliked: They were cleaning the septic tanks one of the mornings we woke up, so we were unable to sit outside (terrible smell) and the machines started running at 7am, waking everyone up. It smelled of sewage in the spa and the gym as well. I thought for the price we were paying (1000$ CND per night), they could have advised us of this service call and provided some sort of compensation (complimentary breakfast for example). Another thing is they didn't tell us when we checked in that the Tiller would be booked up every night. When we called to reserve, we were told it was booked for the next three nights so we were only able to eat there once.

Disliked: The pillows were really uncomfortable The food was not great The smell of nubs in the hallway everytime we went to our room was tough to take - needs way better ventilation
