Liked: Girl at check in was very helpful and lovely. The hotel is basic but did look nice. We were informed at the desk that we could use the pool and gym which was on the grounds.
Disliked: There was renovations happening while we were staying. We were not informed of this prior to the stay. So certain areas was not open when we arrived. We had to go downstairs for drinks. When we did were where served by a member of staff who didn't no how to work on the bar he was a friendly and polite but He didn't no how to pull pints I watched him fill a pint throw the head out he done this 5 times and didnt no to tilt the glass to pour. We were served flat pints that tasted bad. We were then moved upstairs with our drinks after being told upstairs was closed. We ordered 2 more pints and the same fella from downstairs served us flat pints again from the bar. After that round we informed the manager about the flat pints with no heads. I would advise the management to train there staff on the bar. On the second night we arrived back from dinner and proceeded to walk downstairs to go for more drinks when a man at the front desk shouted at us where we residents he shouted this from the desk while we were at the doors to go downstairs . We told him we where and he replied with where we actually residents? which we where a bit shocked at this response. He then told us to come over to him and give our room number. I did not get his name but it was really uncomfortable and a bit embarrassing. He then asked my name for the room number and when I confirmed my name he apologised. Our bedroom did not have air conditioning. The shower and bath had left over hair from the previous customer who stayed.
