Poor value for money. Much...

Liked: In a good location to get to the centre of town. Decent discount for external car parking. Very close to train station and cheap as well as fancy restaurants.
Disliked: Breakfast was poor. All the hot food was dry and overcooked. Coffee was cheap tasting. Greek yoghurt had curdled. The hotel itself is a maze, have to go up steps to get in off the street. Then go up and down levels to get to your room through hundreds of doors, not pleasant with baggage and would be a nightmare to get out in a hurry I.e a fire alarm. Overall the hotel was a dissapointment and we wished we had stayed somewhere else

Liked: We stayed here for well over a month whilst waiting to move into our new flat in Glasgow and it was the perfect little bolt hole. Maria could not have been more helpful or friendly. We needed a home from home and this certainly fitted the bill. Well equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds. It is a rural location but, with a car, nothing was very far away at all.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike.

Liked: Great location , love the Clayton group.Beautiful building and majority of staff were very friendly and helpful.Room very clean and comfortable
Disliked: Some Reception staff were almost rude.Not the level of help we expect from Clayton group.We paid £15 extra to stay an extra hour in the morning , unfortunately despite being told we could get hot drinks and breakfast from the bar there was no one to be seen.Gentleman on reception told me when I went to advise that breakfast finishes at 10 and bar not open till 12.Maybe should read details on menu in bar area or consult breakfast staff who advised this was possible.We were then locked out of lift area as our card hard run out , 2 trips to reception to fix this. Despite having paid the fee the night before.Restaurant staff and waiting staff were amazing .If you want the name of a prestigious hotel group maybe more staff training required !
