Overall besides the check in...

Liked: Struggled to check in had to wait 20 minutes for someone to show up despite calling the hotel and watching the phone ring.

Disliked: We had issue with the hot water the evening we arrived but it was sorted the following morning.

Nice clean hotel, good cocktails...

Liked: Our Room was Clean and what you would expect from a family room. Breakfast was okay- served buffet style with Pancakes and porridge made to order.
Disliked: We booked this Hotel because it had a pool and we were travelling with kids. When we arrived we were told the pool was closed but we could use a sister hotel by driving there to use the pool. We didn't bother and went to the one in salt hill instead at an additional cost. As we had only booked here because of the pool this put a dampener on the weekend for the kids. a phone call before hand or an offer to transfer to the other hotel would have been better.
