A nice hotel with no...

Liked: The hotel standard was very good and location worked for our business visit.
Disliked: Your site lists a restaurant. However, having driven in heavy traffic from St. Albans we arrived to be told the restaurant isn't open on a Sunday evening. We then had to drive another 15 miles or so to find somewhere decent to eat.

Great Stay

Liked: Lovely hotel in beautiful grounds.Instantly felt welcomed and safe.The garden room was great. It had 2 bedrooms and nice entrance room and lounge with doors out onto a little private garden The beds were lovely and clean and very comfortable

Comfortable few days in Kent

Liked: Location was good for exploring suurounding areas without offering much in the immediate vicinity. Hotel building has some character.Bed was soft but still comfortable.Plenty of parking
Disliked: Room had en-suite but that was next to a shared bathroom with a lot of traffic early in the morning some days

A nice hotel under staffed...

Liked: Quiet location , nice room , super king size bed which was comfortable.
Disliked: The staff person was a young lady about 17-19 years old , left alone to be receptionist , waitress and bar tender. Unfair to her and unacceptable to the clientele. The dinner menu was pub grub. Frozen food poorly cooked , very disappointing and definitely NOT value for money. The breakfast included in the price was average.
