Lovely pub, great room

Liked: Arrive early for lunch, room ready on arrival, lunch was lovely. Room 6 was large and clean, bed very comfortable, quiet and dark. Decent bathroom. Tea and coffee tray available. Plenty of parking. Very enjoyable NYE party.
Disliked: No lamps or side lights in the room only main light.Only 1 packet of biscuits available.Didn't realise breakfast wasn't included and cost additional £12 per person so we didn't bother.

Liked: I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel , and I can confidently say it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and enthusiasm by the staff, who truly made me feel at home.
Disliked: Nothing to do with the hotel, just phone reception in the area.

Disliked: The room was freshly painted with painted furniture, but the smell was awful. If you renovate a hotel room, you must close the booking and open the windows for a few days. The furniture was still sticking about the fresh paint. If the management lets us know about the painting, we can change our mind about using a different hotel. The carpet replacement and painting work continued while we were there. Interesting service!?!They didn't even apologise for the renovation work.The food was not good at all. All fried food had the same taste. (Used cooking oil). The food was terrible and overpriced!
