Would stay at the Clarion...

Liked: Food was really good. Especially lunches.
Disliked: Get a suite at the back The trains were annoying all day and night going past. Also don’t get a studio suite if you don’t like a shower in the bath. Opt for a one bedroom suite in the first place.

Superb

Liked: Great location near the river, train station, and tram stops. The hotel is inside the free tram section . Shops and restaurants near. The room was excellent, we had a studio kitchen which was useful. Clean and tidy hotel. Staff is happy to help.
Disliked: Only one working lift, as the other one was broken, which meant it took a while to arrive. We thought the breakfast prices were over inflated for what you got.

Great views- best positioned stay...

Liked: Have stayed at Clarion many times and love the position.
Disliked: Booked for four adults and four children. Breakfast included. But Clarion didn’t think so. Became a thing. Finally oh yes, breakfast is included. Then WHILE I WAS EATING was mortified and embarrassed to have a manager come up, ostensibly to ask about my stay, but really to tell me I needed to pay for one of those breakfasts. Which I did, but it put a cloud over a special time with my children and grandchildren for me.

Liked: Good spacious apartment with 2 big sized TVs and nice view from the river-view room
Disliked: Balcony doors were quite difficult to operateBreakfast seemed very costly for the basic items includedParking was not included in price1 body wash tube for 2 people!!

Very good

Liked: Big spacious rooms and a spacious shower with good hot water. The aircon worked great during the heatwave, and the bed was comfy. Plenty of amenities.
Disliked: My TV was very glitchy and didn’t have all the channels, and next time I’d request to not be in the room near the service elevator as it was quite loud.
