Liked: The location was perfect and breakfast was excellent and plentiful
Disliked: We arrived late the first night and the room smelled like mould. We both had headaches after the first night. They acknowledged that they had a problem with that room and switched us the next day which was much better

Not worth what we paid...

Liked: Service was great. Everyone was very friendly and helpful to include at check in, check out and the breakfast staff
Disliked: The room. When attempting to call the front desk using the phone; the phone kept hanging up on the front desk (phone did not work properly). When we checked in, it was cold outside and the air conditioning was on. There was no way to turn it off when attempting to work the thermostat or the actual unit. We had to unplug it to keep from freezing. The front desk attendant came and was able to fix it and mentioned that there have been problems with that unit. (heating/air conditioning unit not functioning properly). The chair in the room was extremely uncomfortable and the desk chair was not better. Could not sit comfortably outside of laying in bed to watch TV. (furniture not comfortable). The walls were paper thin; we could hear all of our neighbors. Given what we paid for the room, what we got was not good. We have stayed in several places in the Harrisonburg area and we will not stay here again.

Great place for JMU visitors

Liked: What I like most is that I left my AirPods in my room. They called me hours later we checked out to let me know so I was able to go back and get them. So thankful for that. Stayed there several times. Staff is nice, especially Christian who I’ve interacted with several times now. Convenient to JMU and won’t break the bank!

Comfy rooms at a great...

Liked: A great value in Harrisonburg. The hotel looks recently renovated. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast has many good options.
