Liked: It was a nightmare but staff were wonderful and very kind (10 stars for them), and did their best, but it didn’t make up for the lack of comfort and rest expected from a four-star hotel.I like i stayed only one night.
Disliked: I paid extra for a room with windows and also an extra fee for a view, but the "view" was of the library. I could only catch the actual view if I stood in a specific corner of the room (check my pictures)The worse: my room was under the gym, I dealt with vibrations and bass sounds... the gym opens from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.!!! (If you are thinking of this hotel, first: run away, if you stay, avoid 7th floor)When I asked reception (who were extremely helpful), I was told the only other available room was in the basement, with no amenities, no ketle, no fridge, a broken tv, cold temperature, no windows... a shoes box. I spent the night listening to a guest coughing, slamming doors and making noising flatulences trough the very think walls and couldn't sleep. Staff gave me some snacks and an apologies note.Now I have to claim Booking for my refund because they don't take the responsability, and the extra fee for "the view" will take 10 days to be refunded on my card.Good decor, some peanuts and breakfast don't mean anything if cannot rest properly. Which is the main reason I spend money on this kind of hotel.One cup had something sticky on the nice room. No usb ports in non of them.
