Liked: The views are undoubtedly the greatest draw card for this hotel. Location was superb and views simply breathtaking.

Liked: Location and breakfast were great. Staff very polite and friendly. Rooms were comfortable and clean but the temperature was hard to regulate
Disliked: The shower was awful, without a shower base, the water would spill out everywhere flooding the toilet area

Great for the first stay...

Liked: The position is excellent - overlooking the harbour and very close to all the main Bergen attractions, including the bus stop for the airport. The staff were all also excellent as was the restaurant, particularly the Spanish gentleman in charge.
Disliked: We stayed at the Clarion Admiral Hotel twice on our stay in Norway. Once before our cruise for one night and two nights at the end. I booked a Superior Double room for both. The room on the first night was excellent with a great position overlooking the harbour, with all the facilities you would expect and a decent size. The room we were given at the end of the stay was more like a prison cell being very small with blank walls (no pictures) and no overhead light, so quite dark. The bed was also very small, so not the most comfortable night's sleep, but the view was excellent and so was the bathroom.
