Ideally placed to explore Gothenburg...

Liked: A lovely hotel that’s in a building that used to be used as student accommodation hence the room was massive and complete with kitchenette (no kitchenware, mind, but could be rented). Home Hotel is a great chain for various reasons, not least the DB&B plus Fika. Hotel is 5mins walk from the train station and a similar distance from the trams. It is also next door to a small supermarket.Breakfast and evening meals were excellent (probably the best we’ve experienced with the chain so far).

Liked: Close to the bus terminal and train station. Short walk to the city center.We liked the concept of having breakfast and dinner included in the price.Breakfast was very good.
Disliked: Dinner was good, but not many options for vegetarians. Only salad and bread.No descriptions in English.

Liked: The Location, food,restaurant /bar, cosy room. Had a great time.
Disliked: Morgonrock och lite trevligare duschtvål samt småtops etc hade varit trevligt.

Liked: Breakfast and dinner were very good. Great location, as well. Cozy reception/eating area with great background music.
Disliked: I expected more from a 4 stars hotel. The furniture (especially bathroom) should be updated. The blinds in the bedroom went up and down, and it is was not possible to control it - we asked about it at the reception and they said that it is automatic and nothing could be done. It was hard to use the bathroom products - hard to squeeze out the soap both at the sink and in the shower. Most 4 start hotels I have stayed in before offered various products, such as hand lotion, but not this hotel.There are no hooks to hang the towels.Nobody told us about the gym/fitness center, so we found out about it too late.

Liked: The staff at the reception was very welcoming and friendly. The room that I received was as described, the bathroom was very clean and also the room tastefully decorated. The size of the room was great. The hotel is located close to the Central Station which is very convenient. The breakfast was of high quality with a great variety of options.
