Good hotel and excellent value.

Liked: Amazing location between the fortress and the UNESCO heritage old wooden town. Our room had nice views over the fishing harbour.Our room had a desk chair but two extra comfortable chairs which we thought was good. We also had proper glasses in the bathroom ( not plastic cups ) as well as two wine glasses. The buffet dinner was excellent and the choice of food at breakfast was incredible.The hotel also puts on coffee and cake after 3.00 pm. We also had two beautiful sunny days which was a bonus as Bergen has a reputation for rain and bad weath
Disliked: Hotel undergoing renovation so a bit inconvenient with workmen using the lifts at times.

Excellent location and helpful staff

Liked: Staff were friendly, helpful and very efficient. The included breakfast and supper also adds value.
Disliked: Price point at the time reflected the fact the hotel was still undergoing renovations and not all areas of the hotel were available for use. We asked for a double bed but received two king singles slightly apart. Given our room had just been renovated we were hesitant to push them together ourselves.
