Liked: Very stylish. Good breakfast and evening buffet, variety of food. Tasty and well prepared. Friendly personnel. Reasonable size of rooms, clean, all require accessories available. Overall very good.
Disliked: A bit too soft beds. Some noise related to roadworks around.

Liked: The common living room areas were very cozy and comfortable. Really enjoyed the homeyness of the hotel.
Disliked: Bathrooms were very small. Like a bathroom on a cruise ship.

Liked: Everything was prepared for our arrival. The hotel's location is great, and there is a varied selection of food for breakfast and dinner. The hotel itself is an excellent example of old-fashioned charm, with its timeless decor and classic ambiance that truly made our stay feel special.

A wonderful home from home.

Liked: This is a perfect place to stay in Oslo. Good food, comfortable beds, wine by the fire side. The sauna was large and offered a space to rejuvenate. The building is beautiful and has lovely sense of romance about it. We loved our stay there and hope to return. The staff were all so helpful too.

Disliked: I have been a client of Gabels for Moree than 30 years. I even worked there in my early student years. The room at the Ritz part does not really convince. The bathroom floor was not heated. The room is dull and not very attractive.
