Liked: Everything was excellent except for the hot water.There were two of us in two separate rooms.My room had barely warm water and my colleague had only roasting hot water in his room.There was obviously a fault in the system.

Disappointing

Liked: The hotel receptionist was excellent, very courteous. The breakfast was fine, but nothing special. My husband and I regularly have lunch at Coast, the restaurant at The Claremont and we had heard that the breakfast was amazing. So we were a little disappointed because it was just a standard breakfast.
Disliked: We had a room on the third floor. The room was quite small, but the bed was really comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. The bathroom was a decent size with a bath in it, but the shower was tiny. Fitted into a corner and it was so small that I could not turn around in it. We had booked the room to attend a masked ball in Douglas and unfortunately didn't have the time to use the bath. It was the smallest shower we have ever had in a hotel room.
